Artist Bio

I was born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden, and I currently live and work in San Francisco, California.  I have been creating jewelry throughout my life and have been working professionally as a jeweler since 2004.  

My Scandinavian upbringing is a visible influence on my design esthetics, thus my jewelry is simple, clean and modern in its shapes and expressions.  It also reflects a curious personality interested in change and diversity.

I create my jewelry by interacting with the material, inviting shapes and the interpretation of certain forms from nature and other inspirational objects from my surroundings.  Most of my work is done by various fabrication techniques, but I also create utilizing wax carvings and casting.  I primarily work with Sterling silver, and I combine metal with stones, pearls, resins and organic materials that interest me. 

I have a formal education in metal arts, though I aspire to continuously expand my work through on-going studies in a range of jewelry-making techniques.  My jewelry is sold at a number of stores in both the United States and Europe.
